Is the WSR020 a standalone siren?
No, the siren still needs to be paired with a security system/panel in order to function & receive alerts correctly.
Is the battery removable?
No, the WSR020 has a rechargeable built-in Li-ion battery that can not be removed from the device.
Does this plug straight into my power socket?
Yes, simply insert into your power outlet. No cables or special connection jacks required.
Is it wireless?
The WSR020 connects wirelessly to your security system, acting as a secondary siren if your security panel already has a built-in siren.
Can I place the siren outside my home?
We do no recommend placing the device outdoors. It's meant to be used in indoor environments and offers little protection against rain and other weather elements.
How far away from the main security panel can the siren be placed at?
The siren will continue working smoothly with strong signal for distances of up to 100m / 328ft away from the primary panel.
