DS200 - Window & Door Entry Sensor
A window/door sensor alarm is a security device that detects when a door or window is opened or closed. It uses a magnet and a switch to trigger an alarm when the door or window is opened, providing an effective way to secure your home.

Is the DS200 a standalone sensor?
No, the sensor still needs to be paired with a security system/panel in order to function & receive alerts correctly.
Are batteries already installed into the sensor?
Yes, batteries are already included with the sensor.
How does the sensor work?
Entry sensors detect movement between the two parts of the assembly by taking advantage of a reed switch and magnets. When these two parts are pushed apart, an alert signal is sent out and triggers your security device.
Where and how to mount the entry sensor?
To install the sensor, mount its two components on different moving parts of the door or window using the provided double-sided tape blocks. The components should be positioned parallel to each other and placed within 10mm/0.4" of each other. They can be mounted at any location or height.
Is adhesive tape included?
The kit contains pre-cut pieces of 3M tape for mounting.
Can the batteries be replaced when needed?
Yes, the device contains a two coin type CR2450 batteries, which can be removed by opening the rear cover of the sensor.
How far away from the main security panel can the sensor be placed at?
The sensor will continue working smoothly with strong signal for distances of up to 100m / 328ft away from the primary panel.
