Is the PR110 a standalone sensor?
No, the sensor still needs to be paired with a security system/panel in order to function & receive alerts correctly.
Are batteries already installed into the sensor?
Yes, batteries are already included with the sensor.
Does the motion sensor detect movement at night?
PIR motion detection sensors measure infrared light radiating from objects in their field of view. They will work in any light condition, whether that is during the day or night.
Where and how to mount the PIR sensor?
PIR sensors should ideally be mounted in the corner of the room, approximately 1.8m-2.5m / 6ft-8ft above floor level. This allows them to capture the most of the space and not trigger
Is a mounting bracket included?
Every kit contains their respective mounting bracket and fixtures for installation.
Will my pet trigger the device?
Small pets under 15kg / 33lbs will not trigger the device. *This is greatly influenced by the activity of the pet, how close is it to the actual sensor and angle positioning. Depending on those factors, false activations can still happen. We recommend experimenting with the position and height of the sensor if you're experiencing issues.
How far away from the main security panel can the sensor be placed at?
The sensor will continue working smoothly with strong signal for distances of up to 100m / 328ft away from the primary panel.
